Man joins cast

Sure it’s another totally unnecessary ‘reboot’, but if the line up is anything to go by Jose Padilha’s RoboCop looks like it’s going to be pretty impressive. Watchmen star Jackie Earle Haley will be joining a cast that already includes Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Joel Kinnaman, Hugh Laurie and Abbie Cornish (the one with the big guns/breasts and tiny clothes in that piece of total nonsense Sucker Punch).

Hayley will play Maddox, the man in charge of Robocop’s military training, and by the looks of those cheekbones and hard, staring eyes, we bet that training is going to be light on the love, heavy on the shouting.

The rumour mill is also churning with news that Jay Baruchel (Knocked Up) is thinking about talking about maybe discussing the possibility of potentially having a role. But that’s all we got. Stay tuned for more RoBreaking News…
