According to this video interview with liveforfilms, Dog Soldiers director Neil Marshall has a WW2 alien invasion movie in the works.

This news comes after Marshall dropped out of directing a feature length adaptation of the 70s/80s TV action series The Professionals for unknown reasons.

If the project takes off it will be the latest in a series of alien mashups to make it to the big screen, following Attack the Block and Cowboys & Aliens (both out later this year).

Suggestions for a working title are welcome in the comments section. The best I could manage was Close Encounters Of The Third Reich.
