New Trailer for Never Let Me Go

Based on the novel by Kazuo Ishiguro, Never Let Me Go is a strange, slightly unreal story set in a dystopian Britian. However, seeing as it stars Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan, it is also a sure-fire box office smash. The team released their first trailer today, giving us a peek into the dark, unbalanced and slightly unnerving world of Ishiguro and director Mark Nomanek (of One Hour Photo).

So what’s the story? The plot follows a group of friends brought up in a prestigious and luxury boarding school – a school that has everything any child could ask for. And yet, something sinister is going on. The children are expected to give “donations”, aware that once they have donated three times, their life’s purpose has been fulfilled. If you’ve read the novel, you’ll know the reason why, but for those who haven’t the trailer is well worth a watch. And it doesn’t give too much away, which is always good.
