On the Road trailer pulls up for a viewing

It is a novel that defined a generation and continues to be the pop culture, uber-master for hordes of students who decide to take a gap-yah before going to study English literature at university. Documenting the jazz era, Americana and one’s spiritual inner journey the film version also has Kristen Stewart in it getting her ta-tas out on screen. We are not sure that most normal people’s spiritual inner journey include K-Stew’s breasticles but hey, troubled teenage souls need to get their kicks somehow.

The film stars Sam Riley as Sal Paradise (who represents Kerouac) and his journeys through life as a young, beat writer as he encounters a whole host of characters who shape him. The books’ strange structure appears to feature in the film as we can see by the trailer, with Paradise typing up his meandering thoughts on the 120ft continuous scroll which Kerouac used to write On the Road. Pretentious? Yes. The trailer has been described as an Edward Hopper painting come to life. Clearly by someone who has never seen an Edward Hopper painting…

Obviously this is a very serious piece of film making with all of the stars eager to contribute to the great American classic by adding their stamp of individuality to some much loved characters that inspired thousands of teenagers searching for something more in life…

Who are we kidding. Kristen Stewart gets her tits out in a car! Both of them! She just puts them right out there! BOOBIES! So much for intellectual debate…

On the Road comes out in cinemas on the 12th October. Oh, it also has Viggo Mortensen in it…just in case you’re not sold on the breasts…
