Paramount have released the first trailer for Shrek 4 – Shrek Forever After which is (hopefully) the final instalment of the Ogre’s adventures. Thank goodness.

The plot, so we hear, goes a little bit like this:

Problem 1 – Shrek is stressed out with his wife and brood of baby ogres and longs for the time where he was a true ogre. Problem 2 – Everyone has forgotten who Shrek is.

Cue Rumplestiltskin to trick our green hero into creating an alternative Far Far Away where all hell breaks loose as Shrek, Fiona and Donkey have never met.

Rumplestiltskin supposedly gets the plot going so it’s a bit strange that he’s is yet to make any kind of appearance in stills or the trailer. To be honest, we’re just looking forward to the Shrek saga being over. Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think…
