Hovering somewhere between a teenage sex-romp comedy and Clarissa Explains it All lies Fun Size, an awkward, inoffensive and ultimately meandering tale attempting to target the abandoned 12-14 y/o market. This film lingers and loiters like a greasy teenager at the mall, and is about as appealing to anyone who is not themselves a greasy teenager.

We can all think of a video game that somehow, beyond all sense and rationality, made it from the little screen to the big, and we usually wince when we recall them. The list of films based on video games is arguably one of the most excruciating compilations of film fails. So why do people keep on trying? And why do they always suck?

Fireball is a film that will more than satisfy those out for a new spin on the traditional gang-action brawl. It’s frantic, blood-thirsty and action-packed whist managing to pack in some original fight sequences that are great to look at. However, if you’re looking for action with brains behind the fists, this isn’t the game for you.
