  • Cinderella remake on the way

    Crimety, even the all-powerful Disney are now fully on the re-make bandwagon, it seems. After the ridiculous (and in our opinion, completely undeserved) success of Alice In Wonderland, the Mouse House have upped their re-make capacity, promising to deliver Malificent (the untold story of Sleeping Beauty) and now a live-action version of Cinderella. Is a remake we need? Of course not. But when has that ever stopped Hollywood before?

It also gives us an intriguing insight into the making of the world’s most powerful fashion publication, from the early brainstorming sessions to the fabulously artistic photo shoots.

    We’re all for brainless and fluffy rom-coms, they’re what this country was built on after all. However, Confessions Of A Shopaholic not only lacks depth, but is devoid of humour, charm and pace. With so many other films in this genre offering quirky comedy, razor wit and serious style, we’re less than impressed. Shopaholic? We’re not buying it.
