Dull and lifeless, Paranormal Activity 4 fails even at the cheap jump-scare. Some decent performances aside, there is very little to sustain either the horror-buff or the average movie goer in this absurdly boring flick. Please don’t waste your money on this. Go buy a hat or something instead.

Watching Gamer is a bit like trying to play Grant Theft Auto when drunk; you know very vaguely that there’s a story you should care about, but all that really matters is that things are getting blown up, big style. If there was a coherent point to Gamer, we couldn’t find it.

The title says it all, really. It was bound to happen, especially when you look at the numbers. Released on November 10th, the multi-platform video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 sold 4.7 million units in the first 24 hours of release in UK and US alone – considering the game is about £40 a pop and that’s near-as-dammit to £200 million in less than a day.
