He made a name for himself in advertising by creating eye-catching commercials that were laden with computer graphics and imagery. His foray into feature film came at the hands of Steven Lisberger (director of the original Tron) who hand picked him for the director's chair of the sequel, Tron: Legacy. His debut was nothing short of a roaring success, setting up his latest sci-fi adventure as a thing to behold.
