Men In Black 3 writer to direct Boy Scouts Vs Zombies

If nothing else, you have to give credit to zombies for their relentless undead-osity. Another zombie film! It’s got boy scouts in this time! And probably girl scouts, because zombies aren’t zombies unless girls are there! To be fair, with the writer of Drop Dead Gorgeous and the co-writer of Tropic Thunder on-board, Boy Scouts Vs Zombies does at least sound like it’s got a bit more creative clout behind it than, say, Lesbian Vampire Killers. What kudos that is, eh?

The man behind the scripts for Men In Black 3 and Tropic Thunder – Etan Cohen – will be making his directorial debut with the project, having picked up a script written by Carrie Evans and Emi Mochizuki. Who are they? Well, they apparently wrote something called College Road Trip which no-one saw. In better news, Lona Williams – writer of the deliciously dark Drop Dead Gorgeous – has signed up to buff up the story. No details of the tale have been released yet, but considering the title is Boy Scouts Vs Zombies, we’re guessing it’s going to be a sweeping romance-drama about war-torn lovers. Or else there will be lots of jokes about Being Prepared for zombies when they’re probably totally not prepared for zombies.

Excited? Do you care? Do you know how to tie an anti-zombie knot? For God’s sake let us know.
