  • Monday Face/Off – Christopher Walken

Christopher Walken is back on our screens in A Late Quartet – but then again, when’s he ever off them? After more than fifty years in showbusiness, the man who wisely decided to abandon the name Ronald but not-so-wisely never invested in a wig shows no sign of slowing down. There’s never a bad time to look back at such a chequered career, so we thought we’d just do it on the day Thatcher died to give you some variety.

  • Friday Drinking game #68 – Christopher Walken

To finish out Walken Week at Best For Film Towers, we’re dedicating an entire drinking game to the man, the myth, the legend that is CHRISTOPHER WALKEN. Whether he’s playing the good, the bad or the ugly, whether he’s psychotic or only slightly less psychotic than normal, there’s a drink to be had in every Christopher Walken movie. Join us for one last walk with Walken, as our gait becomes increasingly staggered and alarming. To Christopher!

  • Top 10 Christopher Walken Moments

We’re exactly halfway through Walken Week here at Best For Film Towers and we reckon it’s about time for us to look back at some of his greatest moments in front of the camera. From the sad, to the bad to the exquisitely deranged, we’re celebrating the wonder that is Walken. Obviously, all the best Walken moments are just him sitting at home with the wife, shouting at the TV or eating soup or complaining about how the neighbours keep burning leaves and all the smoke is coming into his study while he’s trying to work out how to sign out of Hotmail. Those are definitely the best Walken moments around and we’ll probably never be privy to them. Oh well, we’ll just have to comfort ourselves with this list. *Sigh*.

  • Top 10 Potential Actors for Justice League Batman

With the Justice League set to battle against The Avengers 2 in 2015, there has been much speculation about what form the new Batman will take. As we all know by now, Joseph Gordon Levitt is the most likely candidate, considering the end of The Dark Knight Rises, but that’s soooo obvious. Disregarding the hearsay on our boyo Joseph Gordon Levitt, we at BFF Towers have opted for outright guesswork, based on a solid foundation of lunacy. Here are our choices for the new Batman!

  • Cheat Sheet: Christopher Walken

It’s Walken Week here at Best For Film and, to celebrate his upcoming role in Seven Psychopaths, we’re saturating the internet with Christopher Walken news, reviews and booze (look forward to the Friday Drinking Game!) Undeniably brilliant, consistently mesmerising and with an inexplicable intonation, join us as we walk with Walken.

  • Seven Psychopaths

Bursting with humour, poignancy and a good healthy splash of blood, Martin McDonagh’s follow-up to In Bruges is a crazed masterpiece featuring standout performances from its leads. In many ways a barmier, bloodier companion piece to Charlie Kaufman’s Adaptation, Seven Psychopaths is on one hand an intricately worked out, highly self-referential film that’s all about the creative process. On the other hand, it’s an excuse for a ragtag band of brilliant characters to stand around saying funny things to one another. And really, what more could you want?

  • Top Ten Moments from Quentin Tarantino Films

With the building anticipation of Django Unchained, Best For Film was invited down to the unparallelled Prince Charles Cinema just off Leicester Square in London to enjoy every single Quentin Tarantino directed film back-to-back. Although the prospect of a 15 hour cinema session might seem as bad as what Zed does to Ving Rhames, it’s all in a day’s work for us here at the Best For Film World Headquarters. Here’s to our next 15 hour marathon at the PCC!
