    The release of Gangster Squad has got us reminiscing about our favourite screen mobsters, and we thought it was about time someone lent a voice to the most unsung criminal masterminds in film. But don’t go looking for Goodfellas and Godfathers – we’ve excluded Scorsese, because his characters are a whole top 10 on their own. NO MORE shall these forgotten bandits be ignored.     Film is undoubtedly the art form that speaks to us the most here at Best For Film but there is one other that surpasses it. Music. Music is awesome. The right song can take your mood from FML to LMAO. The right song can mend your broken heart. The right music can cure a terminal disease. Ok, that last part was a little much but you get the drift. We’re glad to announced that in uniting in black comedy I Love You Phillip Morris they both show that they’re far from out for the count. But, though it’s McGregor who nabs the titular charcacter, Carrey is the one who steals the show.
