John Brennan (Crowe) is a teacher whose normal world is turned upside down when his wife Lara (Banks) is arrested and then imprisoned for the murder of a colleague. Lara is insistent that she is innocent and becomes suicidal over her wrongful imprisonment. When the legal options run out John is forced to take desperate action and with the help of shady ex-con Damon (Neeson) he decides to break her out! Everything hangs on three days of meticulous planning as John has to create a failsafe plan…
