Following up on our list of best horror remakes, guest blogger Richard has bitten the bullet and sat through some of the worst. Reading this blog may be cause for a little sympathetic squirming; still, at least you’ll never have to feel the real pain of seeing a classic defiled. Tedium. Silliness. Irrelevance – these films have em all!
A comedy about two couples, one huge business meeting, a three day deadline and a cheating spouse. Throw in two of the heavyweights (literally) of the comedy field in Vince Vaughn and Kevin James, and a couple of sexy WAGS in Jennifer Connelly and Winona Ryder and you should be on to a winner. Sadly for all involved, this is not the case.
As a rule, sellout films usually contain a colon and/or a number. We’re looking at you, Speed 2: Cruise Control. Yet, the definition of a ‘sellout’ is tricky, because producers are very good at making shit smell like roses, and before you know it you’re on the set of National Treasure: Book of Secrets.
