Legendary film star Tony Curtis has died at the age of 85.

Director Arthur Penn, the man behind Bonnie and Clyde, has died in New York, hours after reaching his 88th birthday. It is the latest news in what has already been a sad week for film, which has also seen the death of Quentin Tarantino’s long-time editor, Sally Menke.

Acclaimed actor and screen writer Robert Culp died yesterday on Wednesday 25 March after falling near his home in Los Angeles.

Former teen superstar Corey Haim has died from a suspected drugs overdose. The actor who’s most memorable work came in the late 80’s and included the cult classic ‘The Lost Boys’ had had widely documented stuggles with substance abuses. Despite these troubles he had still managed to secure work pretty regularly, with his reality T.V. show with close friend Corey Feldman, ‘The Two Coreys’ enjoyed success.

The well known and highly respected actor Edward Woodward OBE has died near his home in Padstow. He was 79 years old. Born in 1930, Woodward is probably best known to film lovers for his role of Sergeant Neil Howie in the classic 1973 horror film The Wicker Man.
