…In his diet, that is. In what is possibly the weirdest celeb confession we’d ever heard, Nicholas Cage has admitted that he chooses his diet based on how “dignified” the animal’s mating habits are. Er… what?

“I have a fascination with fish, birds, whales – sentient life – insects, reptiles,” he said recently, “I actually choose the way I eat according to the way animals have sex. I think fish are very dignified with sex. So are birds. But pigs, not so much. So I don’t eat pig meat or things like that. I eat fish and fowl.”

“Fish are very dignified with sex” – possibly the greatest line ever uttered. Still, with the wave of success Cage is currently riding on – having gotten great reviews for his performances in both Kick-Ass and The Bad Lieutenant – we wouldn’t be that surprised if this mental dietary requirement becomes the next big fad. Though, how would you check whether you could eat a certain meat without… checking? Hmmm.. this is all getting a bit creepy.
