Isn’t justice marvelous? It’s good to know that we live in a world that demonstates that how sinful you are directly correlates to how famous you’ve become. I mean, yeah sure Roman Polanski raped a 13 year old, but he made all those films! He can’t go to jail! And yes, Lindsay Lohan has been convicted in a court of law, but come on, she was in Mean Girls! She doesn’t belong in the clink!

Last week Miss Lohan was given a 90 day sentence after breaking her probation, but it’s now looking like she may serve only 11 days. Once again, rather than learning the lesson of how justice actually works, Lindsay may be out and wearing something other than orange in less than 2 weeks.

“She is scheduled to be released on either August 1 or 2 for overcrowding issues and good behaviour,” said Los Angeles sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who visited her shortly after she was jailed, said: “Understandably, Lindsay’s having a difficult time adjusting, as it would be for anyone. She’s trying to make the necessary adjustments to an extremely stressful and difficult situation.”

Yes. Poor old Lindsay. What a stressful situation this is for you. It’s almost enough to make you think ‘well, maybe DON’T break the law then, hmmm?’. Still. Maybe this 2 week stint is enough to turn Lohan around. maybe. Or maybe it will assure her that actually, she can do whatever the hell she wants, cos she’s a sleb. Us? Cynical? Never.
