Featuring an all-star cast including funny man Jonah Hill (Get Him To The Greek, Superbad), John C. Reilly (Zombieland, Step Brothers) and the wonderful Academy Award winning Marisa Tomei (The Wrestler, Alfie), Cyrus is a quirky comedy that plans to have you crying with laughter one minute and cringing with embarrassment the next.

John (Reilly) is down on his luck and has all but given up on ever finding love again – until he meets the gorgeous and spirited Molly (Tomei). The chemistry is immediate but John quickly becomes suspicious when Molly appears to be hiding something – her 22 year-old son, Cyrus (Hill).

John soon realises that Cyrus’ relationship with his mum is far from conventional, and that Cyrus has no qualms in manipulating his mum for his own gain. Following a series of fake panic attacks, and the mysterious disappearance of John’s favourite trainers, he quickly cottons on that in order to beat Cyrus, he must outsmart him. As a comical battle of wits ensues, it becomes clear that each of them is willing to go to any length to make sure he is the only man in Molly’s life…

Written and directed by brothers, Jay and Mark Duplass, Cyrus is an unusual comedy coming out on Blu-ray and DVD in February 2011.
