More Trouble for 50 Cent’s Things Fall Apart

Things Fall Apart, an American Football flick directed by Mario Van Peebles that you probably know as ‘That one where 50 Cent got well, like, skinny’, has suffered another setback. Turns out that Chinua Achebe, the author of the novel with the same name, isn’t all that happy with Fiddy’s vanity project hijacking his title. Possibly because the book has bugger all to do with American Football or cancer, and is basically the most beloved African novel of all time.

Fiddy, who claims to have never heard of the book, offered Achebe the clearly pathetic sum of One Million Dollars to keep the title, to which his lawyers had this response, according to The Guardian: “The novel with the said title was initially produced in 1958 (that is 17 years before [50] was born). [It is] listed as the most-read book in modern African literature, and won’t be sold for even £1bn.” Being a resilient fellow, 50 has now changed it to All Things Fall Apart.

Check out the trailer, hilariously bad editing and all.
