Sexy Swede Joel Kinnaman, star of José Padilha’s upcoming remake of eighties cult classic RoboCop, has announced that the reimagining of everyone’s fave rogue cyborg will feature some exciting, well, REIMAGININGS. As Cinema Blend have reported, Kinnaman said “They’re still working on the suit and how it’s going to look, but the visor is going to be see-through. You’re going to see his eyes.” That sounds dangerously sexy and everything, but one of our fave moments in the original RoboCop is seeing Murphy for the first time without his helmet on. Is that going to be sacrificed for the sake of some eyelash batting?

What with Kinnaman getting his eyes all over his RoboCop costume and Colin Farrell livin’ it up on Mars in the reboot of Total Recall, it looks like 2012 is set to be the year of gritty remakes of classic sci-fi satires.
