Da dada daaaaa! The time is finally here! Captain America: The First Avenger has stormed onto our screens sending the world into a hysterical frenzy. To mark this historic event, we celebrate Marvel’s untouchable creations by counting down the best Marvel heroes in the world!
This summer, you can hardly move for superhero films – and Green Lantern aside, we’ve seen most of the stars before. All the classic heroes have had a fair few outings with different faces by now, and if there’s one thing we hate about competition it’s not knowing who’s the WINNER. Feel like arbitrarily deciding whether Michael Keaton’s better at being grumpy than Christian Bale? Good.

A new occasional blog detailing things which we’ve noticed. Obviously. Today, we’ve noticed a very suspicious bit of shiny plagiarism going on – who’d have thought the Brotherhood of Mutants would be thieving from the Dark Lords of the Sith? Tut.
We’d all love to have Storm’s weather control, or Superman’s toy box of powers – but given the choice between having this line-up of genetically-different phenomena at our fingertips, or a life of crushing mediocrity, we’ll take easy street every time, thanks.
Bryan Singer, who is producing X-Men: First Class, has confirmed that Wolverine will not appear in the Marvel Comics prequel due out next year.
