Paramount have announced their reboot of Footloose is no more. Seems they’re finally listening to the public’s cries of “Dear God, no more remakes!” Either that or both their star director and lead actor have dropped out.
Marc Webb has been confirmed as director for Sony’s Spider-Man reboot. The studio stated in a press release yesterday that the 500 Days of Summer director is officially signed on for the film.

For those who enjoy a mindless Sunday afternoon spent in front of a predictably happy rom-com, 17 Again is one of the better out there at the moment. Matthew Perry and Zac Efron are their dependably entertaining selves, while I Love You Man’s Thomas Lennon injects some scene-stealing hilarity.
