Mark Heyman, one of the scriptwriters behind Darren Aronofsky’s ballet melodrama Black Swan, has penned a Facebook-themed thriller, XOXO, which he has described as ‘Fatal Attraction for the digital age.’

XOXO follows on the heels of social media pics The Social Network and (purported) documentary, Catfish, and tells the story of a man who – despite being engaged – embarks on a dodgy online relationship with a mystery woman who eventually begins stalking him (in the good old fashioned real world sense of the word).

We expect to encounter plenty of online bunny-boiling, perhaps in the form of an all-out assault on our poor protagonist’s Farmville. Or maybe the twist is, he’s been stalking himself this whole time.
