It has been reported that the long awaited Anchorman 2 is due to start production with all the familiar cast members from the first hit flick. Its about time for favourite funnyman Will Ferrell who, as of late, has become less, well, funny. With time-waste films like Land of the lost (don’t be suprised if you haven’t heard of it) Ferrell is quickly losing appeal, and he isn’t young enough to keep bouncing back from these flops. A laugh-out-loud fest from Ferrell is definitely overdue.

It appears, however, that Will is already having a bumpy start to the film, as the conflict of the casts’ schedules has already caused a hitch to the start of shooting, Ferrell stated to Zoo magazine, “I thought we were doing it – I was told it was happening and now I’ve heard it’s going to be too hard to get everyone together.” On a positive note he added, ‘Hopefully, Adam McKay (the director) will be able to talk to all the guys individualy and see if we can figure it out.’

The real question we have to ask is, with Will’s funny faltering can he make the film as good as the first? The star confesses, ‘We don’t think we can make it as good,’ later adding,  “It would be really fun to do, so we might just try to make the craziest sequel you’ve ever seen. It could be terrible, but if they’re going to pay us to do it, then why not, right?” That’s the Will Ferrell we know and love.
