So a couple of weeks ago we were given a sneak peek of Fincher’s Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and it’s safe to say we all had to change our trousers after. Well, there’s a full-length version now online, and by gum if everyone isn’t desperately attractive and exciting looking.

Coming it at nearly four minutes, it’s more of an overview of the film as a whole than your basic trailer, but we’ll forgive it, because it’s so damn stylish:

It’s very satisfying to finally get a sense of the dynamics between the key characters, and to be fair to Rooney Mara she seems to be holding her bleak little own again the likes of Daniel Craig and Christopher Plummer. The soundtrack is absolutely killer and hey, there’s no-one quite like Fincher for weaving together a suspenseful thriller. Sure, it’s still desperately unnecessary, but what is Christmas for if not investigating the killer of a young lass? Roll on December.
