All news from the wacky world of Harry Potter is good news as far as we are concerned. So the announcment that J.K. Rowling has approved some changes to the ending of her book is exciting stuff. With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 not out until July, we still have to wait to find out exactly what these changes consist of, that is, unless you naughty folks want to read the epic huge spoiler below.

*SPOILER ALERT – if you don’t want to know who dies, shut thine eyes now!*

The death of Snape, or Alan Rickman in Dracula mode as I like to call him, is to move location for dramatic emphasis. Fans of the book know he dies in the Shrieking Shack, but it seems this is to become a crystal house thing nearer the school so you have the OTT burning of Hogwarts in the background when he says his final goodbyes.

Ok, so as spoilers go, it isn’t hugely epic. But still, crystal houses are slightly more magical than old dirty houses, and so at least one of the best actors from the franchise will have a very fitting demise. Farewell Dracula.
