Either that or the end of One Day is a lot more intense than we thought
Everybody at some point in their life has had a boss so dreadful that, if given the chance, you really would consider subjecting them to some kind of Saw or Final Destination-esque torture. But in movie land we all know that things are always ten times worse. So to mark the release of Horrible Bosses, we are going to count down the absolute WORST bosses in film.
This week saw us get our first glimpse of Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady, made almost unrecognisable (except as Margaret Thatcher, but we suspect that may have been the point) with coiffed hair, pearls and all. But the question is: should a film about such a divisive figure be made at all? And, what with the Susan Boyle biopic firmly in the works, how low is the bar being set for biopics?
So after a wet and blustery June and a less than tropical July, it looks like August is going to be no better. So, rather than delay the inevitable, best face facts now: that barbeque is staying in the shed, you’re not going to get a chance to wear that bikini and picnic food tastes rubbish when it’s covered in rain. However, last time we checked cinemas are all rain free! Huzzah! Here’s your pick of what’s to come next month!
