Didn’t dodge the ‘shit film’ bullet, though, did it?
As Todd Phillips insists on telling each of us, personally, on an hourly basis, The Hangover was the highest-grossing R-rated comedy of all time. And if people enjoyed watching irresponsible men wander around a dangerous city carrying a baby and looking for their possibly dead friend two years ago, then why wouldn’t they love seeing exactly the same thing again? With a monkey!

We have here the identity of The Hangover sequel’s sure-to-be-wacky celebrity cameo; one that will attempt to top Mike Tyson’s air drumming and face pummeling guest appearance. But if you would like to be surprised when the film (‘s trailer) hits, then back away from the article. Run now or forever hold your peace, because you can’t say we didn’t warn you!
The latest in a steady stream of ‘bromance’ comedies that have been infiltrating the cinema since Anchorman and Knocked Up were surprise hits, you know what you’re in for when you go to rent this film from your local Blockbuster. That said, this film was a box office triumph when it hit cinemas as word spread it was a cut above most frat-boy comedies. But after all the hype, upon finally viewing this film we were underwhelmed.
