20th Century Fox have purchased the movie rights to Jane Heller’s novel An Ex To Grind, and top romantic comedy actress Cameron Diaz and award-guzzling Benicio Del Toro are set to star. Dear John is a love story based on the book of the same name by author, and king of the romantic novel, Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook). It tells the story of 23 year-old soldier John Tyree (Channing Tatum), who falls in love with do-gooder college student Savannah Lynn Curtis (Amanda Seyfried).
