  • The A-Team

The A-Team is ridiculous. But given that it’s based on perhaps the cheesiest TV series ever to star a be-Mohawked ex-wrestler with a serious thing for bling, that’s not really its fault. Anyway, the A-Team movie replaces him with a cage-fighter who has given all four of his sons the middle name ‘Rampage’, which is frankly BOSS.

  • New A-Team get some Nuts!

The stars of new movie The A-Team turned out in style on the red carpet last night for the premiere at Leicester Square. The cast defended the film against criticism that it doesn’t match up to the ‘fun and family entertainment’ of the original 1980s TV series on which it is based.

  • Clash of the Titans

Clash of the Titans is a remake of the 1981 classic of the same name, and tells the tale of the legendary Greek hero Perseus. Perseus (Sam Worthington) is the son of Zeus, but he’s been living the life of a fisherman down on Earth, unaware of his divine heritage. • Chloe

Director Atom Egoyan probes the destructive power of obsession in this English language adaptation of Anne Fontaine’s 2003 film, Nathalie. Shot on location in wintry Toronto, which is almost as cold as some of the characters’ emotions, Chloe charts the journey of sexual re-discovery of a despairing wife whose marriage has been stuck in a rut for years. The method she chooses to reinvigorate her ailing relationship is unorthodox to say the least, unlocking deep-rooted desires that put not only herself but also her entire family in danger.

  • From Paris With Love

Ah Paris. City of love. Known throughout the world for romantic overtures, fine cuisine, star-lit walks and, of course, kick-ass car chases. Director Pierre Morel returns to the scene of previous cinematic crimes for this explosive tour of the capital in the company of two mismatched American agents on a quest to dismantle a terrorist cell. Unfortunately, the terrible script and dodgy casting means that the only love we brought back from Paris was the relief in seeing the ending credits.

  • Edge of Darkness

It turns out hell does have a fury like a woman scorned – a father’s loss. Just ask Liam Neeson in Taken and now Mel Gibson in his new ‘actioner’, Edge of Darkness. After a good few years dedicating himself to his behind the camera endeavours, Gibson returns to his -just this side of sanity- best with Edge of Darkness. Bad guys beware, you went after his daughter, now he’s coming for you!
