American TV channel Lifetime fails once again.
White shutters. Dry-cleaned clothes. Fresh flowers. A massive apartment in downtown New York. Nothing wrong with any of these things, except when the girl in the film is meant to be a dogwalker. These be the disgusting tales that chick flicks weave with their nail polished fingers, and we are all victims of their beautiful lies.
He can say it’s meta all he wants, but really it’s just him being a bell-end.
The simple answer to this would be to clone himself. The more Alex Pettyfers the better!
The Mechanic is a remake of the slovenly ‘72 film starring Charles Bronson as a conflicted assassin. Substitute the unflappable Bronson for a wooden Jason Statham, add a Louisiana setting and blues soundtrack, and you have a Statham vehicle whose only redeeming value is the wonderful Ben Foster.
Hopkins chalks up another film to scare the kids.
CSI: Las Vegas returns for Season 10, and the seedy location allows for some casino-based antics, wanderings in the desert, and enough dead prostitutes to start a zombie army. The American crime drama contains some good special effects, but even Morpheus can’t rescue the series from tired storylines and a lack of character development.
