It’s been confirmed that the National Treasure franchise is to get a third installment. Legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer (Pirates of the Caribbean) has hired Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro, writers of the upcoming Prince of Persia movie, to pen the third film in the franchise.
Director Robert Zemeckis is to direct the movie version of Kate Falls’ novel Dark Knight. Zemeckis and the Gotham Group agreed to the deal earlier this weekend. So sci-fi fans, get ready for an underwater extraveganza which looks like it could be on the same scale as James Cameron’s blockbuster Avatar.
