HRH the Prince of Wales officially picks up his senior citizen’s bus pass today, and his landmark birthday got us thinking – not about architecture or the environment or how long his mum’s going to live, or whatever else he actually thinks about, but about princes. You can’t go wrong with a prince – all the cachet of being a royal and none of the pressure. Who’s your favourite?
Ah, star-crossed love, favourite of doe-eyed teenage girls all over the land. This year sees the release of Upside Down, a classic posh-bird-falls-for-common-scamp tale, the extra romantic hurdle being EXISTING ON SEPARATE GRAVITATIONAL PLANES. As someone unwilling to date anyone more than three tube stops away (because ugh, effort), I can’t help but admire their tenacity. And that, with several other reasons, is why my life never formed the basis of a rom-com. Here are some folks who tried harder.

Has YOUR favourite chelonian made our Top 10? Read on to find out!

In Time is any studio exec’s dream. High-concept but easily simplified sci-fi, PLUS a distinctly un-futuristic set with just one really memorable visual tag which can be dragged out for all the posters, PLUS a plot point which means you can literally cast Olivia Wilde as Justin Timberlake’s mum? Gold, all of it. And the amazing thing is, In Time could have had all these and still been good. Unfortunately, twelve thousand temporal puns do not a watchable film make.
Why do you think they gave you the job?!
And not even Clash of the Titans can stop the Greco-onslaught.
